Ridge undertakes fire risk assessments across a wide range of buildings including residential, education, office, leisure and retail.

Ridge publishes the fire risk assessments on RiskBase, a third-party software used for scheduling and completing fire risk assessments. This specialist IT software produces report which are designed to meet the requirements of PAS79:2012. The online system allows the assessments to be available to the client in an electronic PDF format and as a RiskBase online database.

All Ridge risk assessments are reviewed and approved by Ridge in-house BAFE SP205 UKAS Accredited Risk Assessor Approvers.

In the residential sector, properties include low, medium and high rise and include general needs rented, as well as supported living.

As part of the assessment process, Ridge fire risk assessors apply up-to-date knowledge based on current government guidance and national standards including guidance from MHCLG on fire doors, National Fire Chief Council and Building Regulations.
