Ridge was appointed by the Imperial War Museum to a 3-year Framework to provide consultants’ services to a range of projects at all the client’s sites across the UK. The projects range from exhibition installations to general maintenance work, and new build construction.

Ridge hase worked with the Imperial War Museum on a number of projects, including

  • Installation of the Syria Exhibition within existing gallery space; minor electrical works were required as well as a new structural frame to support the exhibits
  • Improvements to the main entrance involved the removal of a visitor lift and the installation of the ‘Poppy Display’. Project challenges included maintaining public access and unobstructed entry/exit through the main door whilst the works were carried out
  • Installation of the new Lest We Forget exhibition within existing gallery space. The project involved the construction of new free-standing displays, within the special exhibits area
  • Up to £8 million
