RBKC manages a stock of circa 10,000 dwellings. Ridge was originally appointed to undertake an asset management health check review and to formulate a business improvement plan. Following the Grenfell tragedy, this scope was widened to providing interim and asset management support to the Property Services Team.
In June 2017, responsibility for housing maintenance moved from the TMO to RBKC. Ridge provided staff to head-up the asset management team. The role included the day to day management of the strategic investment team.
Ridge has been responsible for maintaining and updating the stock condition database (Keystone), preparing capital works budgets and cost reports, considering procurement options and contracts, programming works and reviewing compliance procedures.
