A unique project at the heart of a new residential development in an area of Edgeware under regeneration. The project required multi-stakeholder engagement and formed part of the development's Section 106 Agreement.
The scheme is unusual in that it combines a faith centre and community centre within a multi-cultural neighbourhood. The building boasts an exposed Glulam structure and a prominent bell tower which defines its place within the community.
Ridge was required to manage the many interfaces between this Contract and the wider works, which were being undertaken by the client, in order to achieve the target completion date.
Ridge implemented key processes and procedures to successfully manage and allow full engagement of the four main stakeholders for the new building.
Ridge carried out key post-contract duties associated with a D&B Contract to help keep close control over the programme and tight budget for the client. This included monthly valuations, monthly reporting, chairing monthly progress review meetings, managing an efficient change control system and providing advice as required, to help drive the project forward.
