The scheme provides a new research, development and manufacturing facility to the current Williams Grand Prix Team headquarters site.
Ridge was appointed to provide monitoring surveyor services on the construction and fit out of the Williams Advanced Engineering Centre in Wantage.
This included an Initial Report following receipt of tenders, and then monthly reports to coincide with the monthly valuations on site.
The Initial Report included a full review of the contract documents and feasibility study of the development; this was to ensure that the development strategy, budget and timescale were realistic to cover both the enabling work phase and the main contract works, it also highlighted risks that might affect the project in the future.
During the construction phase, Ridge visited the site on a monthly basis to provide an accurate progress update and valuation drawdown assessment, as well as reporting any matters affecting the development.
