120-121 High Street, Lincoln College Wins the Oxford Preservation Trust Conservation Building Award
02 March 2021
It is with great pleasure that we can announce that 120-121 High Street, Lincoln College has won the Oxford Preservation Trust Conservation Building Award. Congratulations to all involved: fjmt Studio, Beard Construction, CBG Consultants, SFK Consulting and Gleeds.
This project saw the refurbishment and restoration of the old NatWest bank, where 4 luxury apartments were created and a full refurbishment of the roofs, windows and facades of the building. The project also included the formation of a new shopfront, which provides a new visual icon along Oxford High Street.
Historically the elevation had been a shopfront, but this was closed when the building became a bank. The ground floor refurbishment included the restoration of the panelled ceiling on the ground floor, which has then been adapted into the style of the Ivy who have done a beautiful fit out for their restaurant.
