Andrew Bissell to speak about lighting design at upcoming events

21 September 2022

Ridge Lighting Partner and President of the Society of Light and Lighting Andrew Bissell will be speaking about lighting design for different environments at industry events in the coming weeks.

On 21 September, Andrew will be speaking at Manchester Art Gallery as part of a panel discussing the question ‘What will the office look like in 2030?’, with a focus placed on workplace lighting. Following a presentation by Dr Shelley James, the panellists will exchange ideas on how lighting design can contribute to ‘creating a happy, healthy and motivated workforce while meeting sustainability and financial targets’. The discussion takes place from 1pm to 2.30 pm, following lunch.

Then, on 13 October, Andrew will be speaking about Dark Sky lighting design as part of the ‘Let’s talk about light’ thought leadership event, which takes place from 12pm to 4.30pm at Shangri-La The Shard, London. The occasion will see key figures from the industry speaking on a wide range of lighting design and specification topics.

Andrew will be drawing upon his broad experience to give his insights on high-quality, context-appropriate lighting design, including innovative strategies and new audiovisual technologies.

The Ridge Lighting Design team are adept at designing attractive and cost-effective lighting systems for a variety of contexts and sectors. Our bespoke designs always respond to the architecture, the materials, the environment and, most importantly, the people who use the space.

Andrew will be delighted to talk to you at these events about our lighting design experience and capabilities. Alternatively, you can contact Andrew at andrewbissell@ridge.co.uk
