In addition to the above and in line with making the best use of this brownfield site, Bromford will be looking to rationalise the land available on site and as result accommodate some additional dwellings taking the total number of properties on site to 67 to provide a mix of 1, 2 and 3 bed residential units. These include flats, semi-detached and detached houses.
The new application to increase the provision of properties on site will be submitted in the next few weeks to Cheltenham Borough Council for consideration. The Council will advertise the application and notify local residents that it has been submitted. At that stage, there will be the opportunity to make formal comments in relation to the submission. While that is the case, Bromford would also like to engage with local residents to gain their views on the proposals before the application is submitted. Ideally, we normally do this by holding a public consultation event, but due to the current Covid 19 crisis this is obviously not possible. Consequently, we are setting up a link to a web site where the proposed layout that will form part of the application submission can be viewed along with some street scenes so you can get an idea of how the scheme will look. We will also be providing comment forms on the web site for people to fill out and let us know their views.
