The site, which affects the setting of a listed building, comprises 3.6 ha of agricultural land immediately adjacent to the settlement of Cam. Outline planning permission was obtained in 2017, therefore the principle of development had been established. The main matters for consideration related to design, layout, scale, landscaping and associated works.The planning team at Ridge led the application which necessitated pre-application consultations with the Local Planning Authority and engagement with the local community. In addition to the need to comply with national and local planning guidance, the requirements of the Neighbourhood Plan for the area had to be addressed.
