Following the acquisition of Projex Building Solutions Limited in October 2021, Projex will officially rebrand as Ridge and Partners LLP (Ridge) from Tuesday 4th January.

The name change follows an extensive integration process which has seen the businesses come together to leverage the strength of Projex in the Midlands and North East. The new teams will reinforce existing Ridge offices in Birmingham and Leeds while adding to its extensive range of clients and expertise.

Projex represents some of the UK’s most high-profile property developers, occupiers and funds, offering a full spectrum of services including building consultancy, project management, health and safety, and cost consultancy. It has a wealth of experience in residential, workplace, and industrial developments, and will support Ridge with growth in target sectors in 2022.

The acquisition has seen 36 staff join Ridge, with Projex joint managing directors Phil Tomalin and Nick Keaney becoming Partners. In total, Ridge has grown to over 750 experts across its 13 offices.

Recent project wins for Projex include new residential developments for Watkins Jones and Dandara in the South West; new workplace instructions for V7 Asset Management in Birmingham; and large industrial wins for Trebor in the East Midlands, Mountpark in Yorkshire and Dublin, and Manse Opus in Coventry.
