Ridge secures key places on LHC’s public sector framework

20 January 2022

Ridge has won two coveted spots on the LHC’s Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy Services 1 Framework (MDC1) for public sector organisations.

Covering two of the LHC’s divisions, Ridge has been appointed to both CPC (covering the North of England, the Midlands and Anglia) and LSE (covering London and the South East).

The framework has a total value of £500 million over the next six years.

The framework is available to be used by a range of public sector clients, including local authorities; registered social landlords; tenant management organisations and arm’s length management organisations; health authorities; councils, boards, and trusts; publicly funded schools and further education establishments, and registered charities.

MDC1’s 12 workstreams cover architecture, building services engineers, building surveyors, clerks of works, quantity surveyors, employers agents, planning consultancies, principal designers, project management, structural engineering, civil engineering, and multi-discipline services.

Murray Farrant, London Office Managing Partner, who led the tender, said:

“This is a really good win as LHC is a national framework provider and I would like to thank everyone at Ridge who played a part in our tender submission.  We are appointed to all single discipline and multi discipline lots and were ranked second overall for both the LSE and CPC. I fully anticipate that good opportunities will emerge for all offices. This framework should also be seen as a way for Ridge to be directly appointed by public sector clients who wish to use the framework and partner with Ridge directly.”
