To support with master planning, Ridge has joined forces with LDA Design to leverage its expertise in port design and planning.

The framework is available for up to six years and offers a breakthrough for Ridge into the ports and harbours sector – drawing on its expertise in logistics, advanced engineering, and repurposing heritage assets.

ABP is one of the UK’s most significant port owners and operators. Through its network of ports, it offers marine, road and rail access to domestic and international markets. ABP also owns the UK’s busiest rail freight terminal at Hams Hall located in the heart of the country.

Graham Blackburn, Partner at Ridge and Framework Director, said:

“We have a host of experience in both advanced manufacturing and industrial and logistics, which, combined, offers a unique multidisciplinary approach. This, combined with our expertise in listed buildings, allows us to support ABP through its future development programme.”
