Trinity Bradbury View wins prestigious national RESI Award

23 May 2022

Ridge is delighted that Trinity Winchester’s Bradbury View residential extension has won a national RESI Award in the “Health and Wellbeing Initiative - Residential” category.

The awards ceremony took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 11 May 2022.

The prize was awarded in recognition of the great lengths to which the project team – our developer client Trinity Winchester, architects Hyphen and contractor Bentley Projects, alongside Ridge Winchester’s multidisciplinary team – went to ensure that the comfort and wellbeing of Trinity’s residents was met in all aspects of the design and construction of Bradbury View.

The project was also a finalist in the “Development of the Year” and “Social Impact Initiative – Residential” categories, while our Burrell House project, on which we worked for Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and contractors Reside Construction to create the new Winchester Hospice, was also a finalist in the “Social Impact Initiative – Residential” category.

Bradbury View is a welcoming residential extension to Winchester charity Trinity’s day centre, creating much-needed apartments and communal facilities to help vulnerable people transition from homelessness. The sustainable, psychologically informed design provides a supportive environment to help transform lives.

The wellbeing-friendly accommodation supplements Trinity’s programme of activities, therapies and treatment. The project team worked collaboratively to ensure the delivery of a high-quality building suitable for the complex requirements of Trinity and its residents.

Congratulations to our client Trinity Winchester, the project team and our Winchester office for this fully deserved award!
