27 June 2022

We are very pleased to learn that two Ridge projects, Trinity Winchester’s Bradbury View and Church Farm in Radley, Oxfordshire, have been shortlisted for 2022 Inside Housing Development Awards!

Homelessness charity Trinity Winchester’s Bradbury View residential extension and the innovative and sustainable Church Farm residential development in Radley have received two nominations each.

The nominations are:

Trinity Winchester Bradbury View
Best healthy homes development
Best development – urban outside London

Church Farm, Radley
Best healthy homes development
Best development – rural/suburban

Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony, which takes place at the Royal Lancaster London on Friday 30 September.

Church Farm is a beautiful and highly sustainable residential development in the Oxfordshire village of Radley, delivering an architecturally diverse, but cohesive, development. The inclusive project creates 246 residential units of different living types, from houses to apartments. The Ridge Architecture team was appointed by developer Blenheim Estate / Pye Homes to redevelop an existing, legacy-driven concept design, and was subsequently appointed to act as Executive Architect after securing planning permission.

Bradbury View is a welcoming residential extension to Winchester charity Trinity’s day centre, creating much-needed apartments and communal facilities to help vulnerable people transition from homelessness. The sustainable, psychologically informed design provides a supportive environment to help transform lives. The wellbeing-friendly accommodation supplements Trinity’s programme of activities, therapies and treatment. The project team worked collaboratively to ensure the delivery of a high-quality building suitable for the complex requirements of Trinity and its residents.

Congratulations to our Winchester and Reading offices and our clients and partners for Trinity Winchester and Church Farm on these great award nominations.
