Construction of 42,000sqft high-end, flexible office and laboratory accommodation as part of MEPC’s £24 million speculative development at Park Drive East, Milton Park.

Milton Park is a business park in South Oxfordshire developed and managed by MEPC. It is home to 250 companies and is one of the largest science clusters in the country.

The £24 million speculative development of Park Drive East comprises three buildings (141, 142 and 143) delivering a total 110,000sqft laboratory, office and high-tech business space designed to reflect the British Council for Offices ‘Best Practice’.

Ridge provided a cost management and Employer’s Agent service, which encompassed detailed quality management during the construction stages of the project.

Ridge undertook a series of cost option studies with regard the external envelope, to inform the design team of the optimum value for money solution without compromising quality or aesthetics.

Ridge also developed a comprehensive matrix / shopping list, to give the client ultimate flexibility when deciding on the final scope of works.
