Mark has over 30 years’ experience providing cost management services for multidiscipline projects in a wide range of client sectors including heritage, industrial, commercial and retail. Mark is a strong team player who is enthusiastic about customer care. His practical experience means he can maximise the benefits of fully integrated teams through collaborative working techniques, benchmarking continuous improvement and KPIs.
As Cost Manager Lead, Mark plays a key part in the successful delivery of a project, adding value in controlling the budget and making sure it is spent in the right areas to deliver the desired outcomes. He provides timely, accurate information to support informed decision-making, and offers extensive knowledge of framework agreements, partnering arrangements, term contracts, procurement strategies and the appointment of consultants and contractors.
Working either as a single discipline or as a multidiscipline team we have a wealth of experience in delivering industrial buildings of all sizes, including temperature-controlled facilities or large scale advanced manufacturing spaces.
Working with our in house Planning team, we have the ability to deliver an industrial development from inception, whether it is a green or brownfield site, to completion. We also have in-depth knowledge of fitting out small and large scale industrial buildings, whether it is to accept a new start up business or to expand an offering of an existing long standing client.
We understand how to effectively deliver Cat A and Cat B fit outs and how to include tenants changes in the base build phase of a project with minimal disruption to ongoing site activities.
We take time to engage with tenants who wish to fit out their new industrial space and we form a detailed understanding of their business and the fit out required to support the same. We guide our clients, using our in-depth experience in this area, to help them make timely decisions. The experienced teams within Ridge can assist with negotiations between landlord and tenant, in order to agree the most efficient way to complete the fit out works and the integration of the same into the base build.
We can provide full turnkey advice for clients and can procure fit out contracts on their behalf. In particular, our Mechanical and Electrical engineers have detailed experience of high tech, innovative Cat A and Cat B fit out’s for both start up and long established businesses.
We consider every angle to effectively deliver the fit out; we consider the main drivers of incoming tenants, the majority of which are largely focused around commencing operations in the new space as soon as practicable but within a cost effective model.
