Gabriel Pierazzini is a façade engineering expert witness with more than 40 years’ experience in the design, procurement, construction and investigation of building envelope systems.

Recognised as a leading authority on façades and fenestration, he combines deep technical expertise with extensive practical experience across major projects in the UK and internationally.

His expertise spans curtain walling, steel and glass façades and roofs, precast concrete façades, terracotta and stone rainscreen systems, and general fenestration. Having worked in consultancy, specialist subcontractor, contractor and client-side roles, Gabriel brings a balanced perspective to disputes involving design responsibility, technical compliance, specification issues, defects and system failures.

Gabriel has held senior positions with organisations including Kier, Balfour Beatty, Canary Wharf Contractors, Mace, Permasteelisa, Lend Lease and Arup, contributing to landmark projects such as Southbank Place, Television Centre, Nova Victoria, 20 Fenchurch Street and One New Change. This experience provides him with a detailed understanding of the technical, contractual and commercial challenges associated with façade delivery.

A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Society of Façade Engineering, Gabriel also holds master's degrees in Construction Management and Construction Law and Dispute Resolution.
