Experienced architect and practice leader Adam McPartland has joined Ridge as architecture partner, strengthening our presence in Birmingham and across the Midlands.

Adam McPartland will lead and grow our architectural offer across the region. Based in Birmingham, he will build relationships with clients, win and deliver projects, and bring together expertise from across our multidisciplinary teams.
Two decades of architectural experience
Adam McPartland joins us from Glancy Nicholls Architects, where he was managing director. He brings 20 years of experience in architecture and practice leadership, including 12 years as a Royal Institute of British Architects Chartered Architect and a decade in senior management roles.
His expertise spans high-rise construction, city centre regeneration and high-density residential design. He has led major developments across the Midlands, including the 51-storey One Eastside tower in Birmingham and the regeneration of Perry Barr, delivered as the Athletes’ Village for the Birmingham Commonwealth Games.
He has also worked with Wolverhampton City Council and the University of Wolverhampton to shape a future vision for regeneration, connectivity and development across the city. Projects to which he has contributed have received awards from the Royal Institute of British Architects, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the MacEwen Awards and the Housing Design Awards.
