Matthew is a Chartered Architect with more than 18 years’ experience delivering new build and refurbishment projects across the education, community, leisure and heritage sectors.

He is an expert in sustainable design and building conservation, with experience designing to Passivhaus standards for new buildings and retrofit projects. He has also worked extensively on listed and historically significant buildings, helping to balance modern needs with the preservation of their character and heritage.

Matthew believes good design is the foundation of a truly sustainable building. He takes a thoughtful, design-led approach to every project, combining creativity with a strong understanding of how buildings perform in practice.

Known for his passion, attention to detail and practical mindset, Matthew delivers considered, low-energy design solutions across a range of building types and scales. He is a member of RIBA and holds an MSc in Sustainable Building Conservation.
