Ian is a quantity surveyor with a wealth of experience in design and build construction, including complex fit outs and fast-track procurement. Over the years, he has worked closely with contractors, leading estimating teams and helping projects stay on track from a cost perspective.

More recently, he has focused on the project management of high-end residential properties, drawing on his commercial expertise and practical understanding of project delivery.

Before joining Ridge, Ian was a founding partner of the Midlands office at Projex Building Solutions, which we acquired in 2021. Earlier in his career, he was Operations Director at AMEC Design and Management, where he led two offices with responsibility for 450 design professionals and 18 project managers.

Alongside his project work, Ian is passionate about developing the next generation of talent. He takes an active role in supporting graduates and apprentices across the business, sharing his experience and helping others build successful careers in the industry.
