- Building services cost management
Adrian is responsible for managing a large team of mechanical and electrical cost managers dealing with a full range of services for clients, main contractors and sub-contractors. Services offered include feasibility studies, budget estimates, detailed cost planning, tender documentation which often includes the use of detailed traditional bills of quantities, post-contract cost control including preparation of valuations and final accounts, measured term contracts and preparation of contractors’ tenders, asset collection and energy reduction modelling. The team regularly carry out detailed life cycle cost analyses with a view to optimising services costs through value engineering and option studies the aim is to add value to each and every scheme that they undertake. Working for major high street retailers over the past 20 years Adrian has built up a vast knowledge of a holistic and highly proactive approach to cost management bringing in new innovation and practices to continually improve the service offered. This experience regularly involves supply chain management and bulk procurement of products, accurate asset collection, the building of business cases, detailed energy reduction cost modelling. These skills obtained initially within the retail sector are now regularly utilised with our clients in other sectors. A vast range of services can be offered around compliance, from asset tagging and scheduling to full life cycle cost profiling for an estate with a detailed analysis of Statutory and Legislative, Business critical and minimum recommended requirements to meet target budget requirements.
