David is a partner in the Oxford Office and a chartered building services engineer with19 years of experience in the industry. Having worked in Scotland and Bristol before spending 9 years working in London, he joined Ridge in Oxford to help lead the team in delivering multidisciplinary projects covering higher education, life science and motorsport. He has a track record in developing concept designs and leading a team through to the completion of detailed design. He is currently focused on supporting clients in managing designers to deliver on complex projects.

Career highlights so far include projects such as Battersea Power Station, London Olympia and the ongoing works at the Elison Institute in Oxford. He believes the success of projects lies in shaping design solutions to meet the wider needs and values of clients. He is passionate about how we communicate around design and how we manage the interfaces across disciplines. He believes that building relationships across stakeholders and understanding their perspective is how we create value for our clients.
