Ridge has been appointed to The Crown Estate's project management framework, supporting the Marine Delivery Programme - a landmark initiative shaping the future of the UK's seabed and coastline.
About the framework
The framework runs for four years and brings together five suppliers to deliver a programme valued at £15 million. We will provide project management services across a broad scope, including strategic programmes, leasing programmes, enabling and investment programmes, ad hoc programmes and project delivery, and portfolio management office support.
Our delivery channels span the full project management lifecycle, from thought leadership and strategic portfolio oversight through to risk and issue management, benefits management, and capability building.
The Marine Delivery Routemap
Central to the programme is the Marine Delivery Routemap – a ground-breaking initiative working towards a shared vision for the UK’s seabed and coastline. The Routemap will deliver:
- The first-ever digital and interactive map for the seabed and coastline, built on world-class spatial mapping and digital expertise
- A long-term tool to help identify when and where key infrastructure and supply chain investments are needed, providing forward visibility for investors
- Shared evidence base for the seabed and coastline that reflects existing policies and regulations, and is informed by delivery partners
Our expertise
Much of the specialist capability underpinning this appointment stems from our acquisition of Adept Management in April 2025. Adept were a specialist programme and project management consultancy with deep expertise in project controls, and their integration into Ridge has significantly strengthened what we can offer clients. Combined with Ridge’s extensive resources across the UK, we now bring genuine depth in skills across the full project management spectrum, from strategic oversight to on-the-ground delivery.
What this means
This appointment reinforces our position in the infrastructure sector and our ability to support complex, high-profile programmes at a national scale. Working alongside The Crown Estate, we will help shape an evidence-led, digitally enabled framework that supports sustainable investment in the UK’s marine environment for years to come.
The Marine Delivery Routemap represents a new approach to how we plan and invest in our seabed and coastline – and we are well-placed to support that ambition.
We’re appointed to Lot 1 (Marine) of the framework. This success, ranking ahead of some top international consultancies, shows the depth of expertise within our project controls team.
