Alastair Ferguson

Alastair is a chartered architect with more than 30 years' experience in the construction industry, delivering luxury residential properties and affordable housing across West London, as well as high-end commercial projects in Mayfair.

His experience spans projects of every scale, from individual homes to high-rise residential developments. As project architect, he led the refurbishment of a Grade II* listed church near Sloane Square and its transformation into Cadogan Hall, the 950-seat concert hall and home of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. He also led a team specialising in the delivery of high-risk residential buildings under design and build contracts.

Since 2021, Alastair has focused on providing expert advice and evidence. He specialises in the forensic investigation of building defects, including fire safety, façade construction and waterproofing, and has been cross-examined in both the Technology and Construction Court (TCC) and the First-tier Property Tribunal.

Alongside his architectural qualifications, Alastair holds an MSc in Construction Law from King's College London and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
