Alexander Miller

Alex is a Chartered Architect and RIBA member who leads the architecture team in Bristol. Having trained in the UK, he also brings international experience, having spent three years in Canada working on a range of engineering and design-led projects.

An advocate of interdisciplinary, collaborative design, Alex is focused on creating sustainable and Net Zero architecture through building information modelling (BIM). He delivers projects with complex requirements and challenging objectives, combining technical expertise with a practical approach to design and delivery.

Alongside his project work, Alex supports the development of future talent within the profession. As well as mentoring junior architectural staff at Ridge, he is an RIBA Student Mentor with the University of the West of England and an active RIBA member.

Alex has led several substantial projects across the industrial and logistics, advanced manufacturing and automotive sectors, and is a leader in green technologies and R&D projects. He is equally committed to delivering smaller-scale schemes, including schools for the Department for Education and blue-light facilities for the emergency services, as well as commercial office, refurbishment and residential projects.
