Alexander Miller

Alex is a Chartered Architect and RIBA member who leads the architecture team in Bristol. Trained in the UK, he also brings international experience having spent three years in Canada working on a range of engineering and design-led projects.

An advocate of interdisciplinary, collaborative design, Alex focuses on creating sustainable and Net Zero architecture through building information modelling (BIM). He works on projects with complex requirements and ambitious objectives, combining strong technical expertise with a practical approach to design and delivery.

Alongside his project work, Alex supports the development of future talent within the profession. He mentors junior architectural staff at Ridge and is an RIBA Student Mentor with the University of the West of England, as well as an active RIBA member.

Alex has led several substantial projects across the industrial and logistics, advanced manufacturing and automotive sectors, and is a leader in green technologies and R&D projects. He is equally committed to delivering smaller-scale schemes, including schools for the Department for Education and blue-light facilities for the emergency services, as well as commercial office, refurbishment and residential projects.
