Alexandra Gerrish-Ives is a partner and head of our Reading project management team. With more than 27 years' experience, she has delivered complex development projects across the residential, education, healthcare and hospitality sectors.

A Chartered Architectural Technologist, Alex leads interdisciplinary teams from early vision through to delivery. Her experience spans major regeneration projects, large-scale housing developments and sustainable buildings for both public and private sector clients.

Before joining Ridge, Alex was director of development at Aequus Developments, where she oversaw a £124 million portfolio of more than 1,000 homes, including award-winning affordable housing schemes.

Alex is known for bringing people together to move projects forward. She works closely with stakeholders, navigates complex regulatory requirements and helps clients deliver projects that support wider social and environmental objectives. Her experience includes working with local authorities, housing companies, NHS trusts and the Department for Education.
