Andrew served as President of the Society of Light and Lighting (SLL) from May 2022 to May 2023. With more than 25 years' experience, he understands how lighting influences the way people experience and use a space. Having started his career installing lighting before graduating, he brings practical knowledge of both design and installation.

His approach to lighting design starts with the architecture, the materials and the people who will use the space. He supports a daylight-first approach, guided by the belief that lighting should only be used where it enhances the beauty or function of a place.

Andrew is passionate about improving the quality of the built environment through better lighting. He explores new technologies and techniques to create spaces that work better for clients, occupants and communities.
