Ben is a cost management specialist with more than 15 years' experience delivering complex projects ranging in value from £250k to £15 million. As our retail sector lead, he has worked across the leisure, commercial, industrial, residential, heritage and finance sectors, and understands the commercial challenges and opportunities each presents.

He provides a full range of pre- and post-contract cost management services, including cost planning, procurement, tender documentation and fund monitoring. His experience extends to project management, employer's agent and contract administration roles, giving clients a well-rounded perspective throughout the project lifecycle.

Ben acts as monitoring surveyor for several banks and is valued for his clear, commercially focused approach. He helps clients make informed decisions, balancing cost, risk and project objectives to support successful delivery.

He holds a BSc (Hons) and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). As an APC Assessor for RICS, Ben leads APC training across Ridge and has supported more than 150 candidates on their route to chartership.
