Chris is a building services engineer with more than 18 years’ experience. He started his career as a qualified electrician before moving into mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) consultancy, giving him a strong understanding of how buildings work in practice as well as how they're designed.

At Ridge, Chris specialises in residential projects, from new build developments and complex redevelopments to refurbishment schemes. He also brings experience from the education, defence, retail and commercial sectors, giving him a broad perspective on the challenges different projects can present.

Chris is particularly experienced in complex MEP surveys and providing technical advice that helps clients make the right decisions about their buildings and assets. Working closely with our property consultancy team, he supports everything from targeted surveys to construction programmes worth up to £80 million, helping clients plan with confidence and take a longer-term view of their portfolios.
