Chris joined Ridge in 2019 to lead the transport planning team in Bristol and has over 20 years’ experience helping private and public sector clients navigate transport planning and highways challenges.

Over the years, he's worked across a wide range of development sectors, supporting projects through every stage of the planning process. From helping secure site allocations to obtaining transport planning consents and representing schemes at public inquiries, Chris has a strong track record of helping clients move projects forward. That includes successfully overturning planning refusals on multiple schemes.

Clients value Chris for his determined and practical approach. He takes the time to understand what they're trying to achieve, gives clear advice and isn't afraid to tackle complex or challenging projects. His focus is always on finding the best route forward and securing a successful outcome.

Chris holds an MSc in Transport Planning and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institution of Logistics and Transport (CILT).
