Dan has been with Ridge for more than a decade, growing from architectural technician to leading one of our fastest-growing and most innovative service areas. Starting out with traditional survey techniques, he recognised the potential of laser scanning early on and built a specialist team around it. Today, that team operates across London, Oxford, Birmingham and Leeds.

Dan leads a team delivering measured building surveys, Scan to BIM, topographical surveys and a range of other geospatial services. Using laser scanning, robotic total stations and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receivers, they provide accurate, reliable data that supports projects from the earliest stages through to delivery.

He has played a key role in establishing geospatial surveying as one of our core disciplines, with further growth planned in the years ahead. Known for his entrepreneurial mindset and ability to build high-performing specialist teams, Dan continues to drive the development of the service and the people behind it. He is a Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT).
