David is a partner in our Oxford office and a Chartered Building Services Engineer with 19 years’ industry experience. Having worked in Scotland and Bristol before spending nine years in London, he joined Ridge to help lead the delivery of projects across the higher education, life sciences and motorsport sectors.

David has a strong track record in developing concept designs and leading teams through to detailed design. He now focuses on helping clients manage design teams and successfully deliver complex projects.

His experience includes major schemes such as Battersea Power Station, London Olympia and the ongoing works at the Ellison Institute in Oxford.

David believes successful projects come from designing solutions that reflect a client's wider needs, ambitions and values. He is passionate about clear communication, effective collaboration and managing the interfaces between disciplines. By building strong relationships and understanding different stakeholder perspectives, he helps teams create lasting value for clients.
