Fiona Du Fresne

Fiona is an associate partner who cares about creating environments that support research, innovation and inclusive learning, with a focus on science-led campuses and special educational needs schools.

Her portfolio includes masterplanning, research facilities, laboratories and specialist education buildings. Across every project, she takes a research-led, people-centred approach, ensuring designs respond to the needs of the people who use them.

Alongside project delivery, Fiona is passionate about social value and the role architecture can play in creating positive change. Through her work with the Article 25 NextGen Board, she advocates for embedding social value into both the design process and the built environment itself.

Fiona is committed to making specialist environments more inclusive, accessible and connected to the communities they serve. She believes that science should be open and accessible to everyone, and works to create spaces that reflect that ambition.
