Ian has been with Ridge for more than 20 years and holds CMaPS accreditation. He also sits on our Building Safety Act steering group, helping shape our approach to evolving industry requirements.

His background in building surveying, clerk of works and health and safety, gives him a broad understanding of construction and design across the residential, commercial, healthcare, leisure and education sectors.

This breadth of experience underpins his work as a principal designer and Construction (Design and Management) advisor, where he has helped clients confidently navigate compliance requirements following the Building Safety Act 2022.
