James Addley

James is a Fellow of the Association for Project Safety (CFaPS) and a Graduate Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (GradIOSH). With a degree in architecture and 30 years’ experience, he brings a broad perspective to construction health and safety, having worked across sectors including commercial development, infrastructure and education.

He works closely with clients to help them understand and meet their legal responsibilities, particularly in principal designer and other duty holder roles. Drawing on his architectural background and practical industry experience, he helps teams manage risk, navigate compliance requirements and make informed decisions throughout the project.

Alongside Construction (Design and Management) advisory services, James provides strategic advice, assurance audits, training and health and safety monitoring. He is known for his straightforward, practical approach and his ability to make complex requirements easier to understand and apply.
