James is a mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) services engineer with more than 20 years’ experience working on building projects across the UK and internationally. He joined Ridge as a junior engineer and now leads one of our Oxford building services teams.

Alongside overseeing day-to-day operations, James plays a key role in strategic planning, resource management and fee forecasting. He helps ensure projects are properly resourced, teams are supported and clients receive the high level of service they expect.

Over the years, James has worked across almost every major sector, building a reputation for providing clear technical leadership on complex projects. He enjoys working closely with multidisciplinary teams, helping turn design ideas into practical solutions that perform as intended once they're built.

Known for his enthusiasm and hands-on approach, James combines technical expertise with a strong understanding of project delivery. He holds a BEng (Hons).
