James is a Chartered Civil and Structural Engineer with more than 20 years’ experience working on projects across London and the South East.

His portfolio includes residential, commercial and industrial developments, from smaller schemes to high-rise buildings. His recent focus is on non-traditional construction methods and large panel systems.

Over the course of his career, James has worked on multi-phase residential developments and fire stations to commercial hubs and world-renowned stadiums. That breadth of experience gives him a practical understanding of how different projects come together and what it takes to keep them moving.

James enjoys working closely with clients, design teams and contractors, bringing together technical know-how, commercial awareness and a clear understanding of the project aims. He is known for his straightforward communication style and ability to spot opportunities throughout the design process, helping teams make the most of every stage of a project.

James holds a BEng (Hons), MSc and CEng MICE qualifications.
