Kat is an Associate Partner in Ridge's building performance team, specialising in sustainable, low carbon design. She brings extensive knowledge across a range of environmental specialisms, including net zero carbon frameworks, embodied carbon assessments, low carbon design advice and bespoke sustainability strategy, supporting projects from pre-planning through design and construction. Her sector experience spans a broad range of building types, and she is known for her ability to communicate complex sustainability topics in an accessible and engaging way, helping clients and design teams understand how integrated low carbon solutions can deliver maximum value for both buildings and their users. Kat takes an active role in wider industry engagement, including seconded roles to the UK Green Building Council, where she contributed to the development of the UKGBC non-domestic retrofit design guide and the Net Zero Carbon Building Standard. She is passionate about delivering healthy, low carbon buildings that genuinely improve outcomes for people and the planet.
