Mark is an equity partner at Ridge with more than 30 years’ experience in the property and construction industry. A Chartered Building Surveyor, Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIHCM), he helps housing providers make informed decisions about their homes, investments and long-term asset strategies.

Mark leads our property consultancy team, working with affordable housing clients across the UK. His team carries out around 60,000 stock condition surveys each year, alongside assessments of housing quality, energy performance and asset data. They also provide validation surveys and data reviews to support mergers, acquisitions and wider investment decisions.

His experience spans asset management, business planning, interim leadership roles and performance reviews. He also advises on key compliance areas, including fire, gas, asbestos and building safety. A respected voice in the sector, Mark regularly speaks at industry events and contributes to discussions with organisations such as the Chartered Institute of Housing, the National Housing Maintenance Forum and Homes England.
