Mark is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of both the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE).

With over 35 years' experience, he has delivered complex engineering solutions across healthcare, defence and public sector estates. As a partner at Ridge, he combines technical expertise with a strategic outlook to help clients overcome challenges and deliver lasting results.

As part of the leadership team in our Plymouth office, Mark plays a key role in shaping regional growth, strengthening client relationships and developing our people. His career spans consultancy, contracting and business ownership, giving him a broad understanding of what successful delivery looks like from every angle. He has led major programmes for NHS trusts and defence clients, including large-scale high-voltage infrastructure upgrades and estate transformation projects.

Passionate about professional development and making a positive impact beyond the workplace, Mark is a Mental Health First Aider, G4C Mentor of the Year and an ambassador for the IET, YMCA and Building Plymouth. His leadership is grounded in integrity, technical excellence and a focus on delivering meaningful value for clients, colleagues and communities.
