Mike is a building surveying professional with more than ten years’ experience using technology to solve surveying challenges. He focuses on finding practical ways to apply technology at scale, helping project teams work more efficiently while maintaining high standards.

A qualified thermographer and drone operator, Mike specialises in reality capture and digital transformation within the built environment. His work includes helping housing providers improve the energy efficiency of their homes to creating digital models of university campuses, as well as developing new ways to use drone technology in surveying.

At Ridge, he uses technology to simplify complex tasks, improve efficiency and give clients better information, while maintaining the quality and accuracy that good decision-making relies on.

Mike is also involved in several UK Research and Innovation Future Flight Challenge projects, helping advance drone technology and shape the future of UK drone regulation, particularly for Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLoS) operations.
