As head of ground engineering, Rob leads our national team of geotechnical specialists. With over 25 years’ experience in the field, he blends technical expertise with commercial insight to guide clients and design teams through high-value decisions at every stage.

Before joining Ridge, he led Hydrock's ground engineering teams in the South West and Wales, managing diverse UK and Northern European projects of all scales.

Rob is particularly interested in maximising project value through earthworks, foundations and material reuse. Working closely with civil and structural engineering teams, he helps bring together the right expertise at the right time, creating coordinated, budget-friendly outcomes from site assessment to final construction.
