Robert is an in-house lawyer with more than 20 years' experience. A qualified commercial solicitor since 2001, he advises on commercial contracts, risk management and claims handling.

He began his career as a shipbroker before joining the College of Law and becoming a qualified solicitor with a City law firm. He later practiced law in the Caribbean with Cariconsult International before returning to London to work as an in-house lawyer for a first-class shipowner. He joined Ridge in 2017.

His range of experience gives him a practical understanding of both legal issues and real-world business needs. Robert is a Member of the Law Society of England and Wales.
