Simon has nearly 30 years’ experience in building services design. Over that time, he has worked across almost every sector, including schools, universities, hospitals, laboratories, offices and homes. His experience ranges from major new-build developments worth more than £250 million to smaller refurbishment projects and schemes focused on reducing carbon emissions.

What motivates Simon is creating buildings that work well for the people who use them, both now and in the future. He takes a practical approach, drawing on years of experience to develop solutions that fit each client's needs. He enjoys the fact that every project is different and believes the best results come from clear communication, good relationships and straightforward thinking.

Simon is also passionate about sharing knowledge and helping drive positive change across the industry. He contributed to CIBSE TM65 Embodied carbon in building services: A calculation methodology and the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard, helping to shape guidance that is used across the built environment.
