Paul is the Cheltenham Office Managing Partner and Head of Planning within Ridge. Paul is a qualified Chartered Town Planner with an Honours Degree in Town and Country Planning. In 1993, Paul founded the practice Hunter Page Planning (HPP), which was acquired by Ridge in 2018. HPP was established as one of the country’s leading private planning consultancies, operating throughout the UK on a wide range of planning matters from the development of eco-towns through to the delivery of new stadiums. Paul’s current planning focus covers projects across England, involving planning applications for housing, employment, leisure, commercial and educational development. Paul also provides professional evidence at planning.

Giles works closely with a range of clients from private land owners to house builders, commercial developers, care operators, education establishments and local authorities on a range of planning matters. Guy is an expert in residential, mixed-use and education-related projects; commercial and rural development relating to individual planning proposals; and strategic promotion of land for development as part of the development plan process. He offers broad experience advising on, submitting and negotiating planning applications. Guy works closely with a wide range of private developers, house builders, education establishments and landowners on a variety of development projects across the country. He has built up considerable knowledge in providing evidence as an expert witness at public inquiries.
