Multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy Ridge and Partners LLP (Ridge) has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification, the internationally recognised standard for information security management.
The certification follows a comprehensive audit by the BSI Group and demonstrates the business’ commitment to securing and protecting data. It recognises that Ridge has signed up to continually improve its working practices to best protect the information it handles.
ISO 27001 is a global standard for information security, published by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). It requires organisations to maintain an Information Security Management System (ISMS) that keeps data secure and safe from theft, loss, damage, and other risks.
“It is fantastic to be able to add ISO 27001 to our roster of accreditations that demonstrate our delivery to internationally recognised best practice and standards. ISO 27001 validates our protection of data on behalf of staff, clients and stakeholders, and builds on our Cyber Essentials Plus certification that we have retained for a number of years.
“Our teams have worked tirelessly to adopt new processes that will better prepare us for the future. Without doubt, ISO 27001 will give customers and colleagues peace of mind and put us on the front foot with information security.”
