A new Parade Ring Restaurant at Ascot Racecourse, created by refurbishing and extending the existing facility.
The new restaurant was required to match the quality and finish of the existing facilities Ascot hosts and is the most prestigious in the racecourse, seating 160 diners.
As part of the works, an adjacent terrace was created overlooking the Parade Ring. A prime section of the terrace was used to form a new Royal Viewing Area, for which Ridge was required to provide all architectural design, including provision of 3D illustrations, for Royal approval.
The existing glazing line was extended and the new space was utilised to create two additional kitchens, and provide an additional line of dining tables.
Ridge worked with the interior designers to agree bespoke furniture and finishes. The scheme was designed, procured and delivered within five months, during which time the racecourse remained operational.
