Ridge and Partners are looking to help their Public Sector Clients work towards their Net-Zero Carbon goals by obtaining funding. It has been announced that applications for Phase 3 of the Salix Public Sector Low Carbon Skills Fund (LCSF) will be open from 2pm on Wednesday 15th June

Salix have announced that in partnership with the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), £14 million of funding has been made available to allow Public Sector Organisations get expert advice and skills to create or improve an existing heat decarbonisation plan.

Ridge and Partners have utilised the first two phases of the LCSF to assist Public Sector clients with mapping out their road to decarbonisation. With the funding provided by the LCSF, Ridge and Partners have been able to undertake surveys of our Public Sector Client’s buildings or even entire estates and provide Salix compliant Decarbonisation Plans.

Phase 3 of the LCSF would appear to signify that a further phase of the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS) will be coming in due course. Over the past 18-months, Salix and BEIS have made £2.5 billion of funding available for Public Sector Organisations to Decarbonise their buildings. The Salix PSDS has been made available in 3 phases and Ridge have assisted their Public Sector Clients with implementing their Decarbonisation Plans and designing Decarbonised solutions.

Based on our experience of the earlier phases of the LCSF, all of the funding will be secured very quickly, and Public Sector Organisations will need to be in a position to submit their applications as soon as it opens. If you require any further information or assistance, please get in touch.
